102 Import Corporation is now facilitating orders for the following products to Ontario residents from Villa Corniole. Villa Corniole is a family winery in the mountains of Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy. All the grapes are selected and harvested exclusively by hand to obtain unique and elegant wines strongly linked to the alpine terroir:

Chardonnay

Villa Corniole's Chardonnay is made with 100% Chardonnay grapes.


Characteristics:  quite deep straw yellow colour, with greenish reflections. The nose is fresh and fruity, with light tropical notes and vanilla. The taste is rich, mineral, full and persistent.

Pairings: it  is a very versatile wine, excellent as an aperitif, it also goes well with both meat and fish appetizers, and also with vegetable dishes and soups.

Cimbro Rosso

Villa Corniole's Cimbro Rosso is made with Teroldego and Lagrein grapes.

Characteristics:  intense ruby ​​red colour. The nose is fruity and fresh, with light spicy notes. The taste is also fresh, rich, soft, savoury and with good persistence.

Pairings:  Cimbro is a cuveé to be consumed throughout the meal, with cold cuts, with juicy first courses or delicate soups, with red and white meats and, given its freshness, also excellent between meals.

Pinot Grigio Ramato

Villa Corniole's Pinot Grigio Ramato is made with 100% Pinot Grigio grapes.
 
Characteristics:  straw yellow, with delicate onion skin, and coppery reflections. The nose has sweet fruity hints and a slight hint of vanilla. The taste is rich, full, structured and soft.
Pairings:  Excellent as an aperitif but not exclusively. The wine also enhances structured first courses and second courses based on white meats, crustaceans, mollusks, and raw fish where the wine gives sweetness or with fresh cheeses.

Trentodoc Brut

Villa Corniole's Trentodoc Brut is made with 100% Chardonnay grapes.
Characteristics:  pale straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. Abundant and persistent foam; very fine and persistent perlage. Elegant and intense bouquet, fragrant and complex, with floral and ripe yellow fruit notes typical of Chardonnay, but also light and subtle notes of hazelnut and lightly toasted bread, due to the long ageing on its own yeasts. Strong, savoury, mineral and fresh taste. Due to its characteristics, a sparkling wine immediately leads back to the Cembra Valley, a very suitable Terroir for Trento Doc.
Pairings:  Excellent as an aperitif. It goes perfectly with many fish or vegetable-based appetizers, first courses and risottos and fish to taste.
